The second painting in a series of two, focusing on the detail of greenery and all it holds. Verdure meaning is ‘green leaves or plants’.
This is a study of focusing in on the detail of nature. The hues of green, the beauty, the perfection mother nature brings and intricate formation of nature that we usually dismiss.We go about our business, desiring to be connected to the earth when in fact it is all around us.
Stop to notice the random blade of grass at your feet and see the wonder and detail it is trying to show you. The hand stitching represents us connecting to mother nature, that it is part of us all.
