We stand and see a world of greenery, throughout life we are on a mission to reconnect with the earth or desire to feel 'grounded' again, like we have lost it somehow along the way.
The verdant, lush landscape is right in front of us. The detail is also there if we take a moment to look closer. We don't need to reconnect, we already are.
This interpretation of verdant in detail is looking closer at the elements we miss constantly. The stitching represents texture of the detail and how we try and hold it close, thinking we may lose it.
